Opernball-Nachlese

Am 28.2.2019 fand er Wiener Opernball statt.

Der Opernball, das muss man sagen,
gab kaum uns Anlass, laut zu klagen.
Denn friedlich, wie es sich gehört,
verlief er völlig ungestört.

First Lady strahlt ins Publikum,
und scheut sich keinen Deut darum,
dass sie noch kürzlich wild marschiert,
und mit den “Grünen” demonstriert,
weil dieser Wiener Opernball
parteipolitisch nicht ihr Fall!

Und echt erfrischend, richtig nett,
trat auf das Opernball-Ballett.
Netrepko sang mit breiter Brust,
war ihrer Stimme voll bewusst.
Ihr Mann ergänzte sie bewährt,
man lauschte ihnen, still verklärt!

Der Stargast lässt sich gern bestaunen,
und zeigte Freude, ohne Launen.

“Conchita” hat man auch entdeckt,
sie hat mich – ehrlich – arg erschreckt.
Ob der Justizminister wusste,
was man betroffen sehen musste?

Man moderierte und befragte,
bis irgendwer doch etwas sagte.
Der Blumenschmuck war wunderschön,
manch Garderobe leicht obszön.

Und erst die feschen Debütanten,
bestaunt von Eltern, Onkeln, Tanten,
sie tanzten sich, könnt’s anders sein,
mit Anmut in die Herzen ein.
Auch die Musik spielt wunderbar
mit tollem Schwung, wie jedes Jahr.

Und wieder war’s auf alle Fälle
für mich der schönste Ball der Bälle.
War überdies gewiss zugleich,
auch Werbung pur für Österreich!
